Lottery and Gambling - MGM Detroit

DETROIT – October 1, 2003 – MGM Detroit Grand Detroit Casino now offers $5 Blackjack tables and two-cent slots everyday.

We also added Super Fun 21 to our table games repertoire. Super Fun 21 is a form of Blackjack that is played with a single deck. The game is played with one normal deck containing 52 cards. All the players’ cards are dealt face up and the dealer’s cards are dealt in the normal manner. The player’s cards are dealt face up to enhance the fun of the game and allow the dealer to point out the many fun and exciting options and bonuses.

“The changes give our guests the opportunity to play for lower stakes and try their hand at new and exciting games,” said Mike O’Connor, VP Table Games Operations.

MGM Grand Detroit Casino is a 75,000-square-foot gaming facility with more than 2,500 slot machines and 80 gaming tables including blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, mini baccarat, 3-card poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let it Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Spanish 21, Super Fun 21 and Casino War. It offers world-class dining at The Hollywood Brown Derby; the MGM Grand Buffet with food selections from around the world; Lion’s Roar Sports Bar and Grill, featuring casual dinning where you can catch a sporting event on a 60” plasma screen; and Java Coast Grill, offering hamburgers, made-to-order deli sandwiches and pizza, a selection of Asian foods, breakfast items and specialty coffee drinks.
