City Trying New Ways of Ice Removal

This year city officials at Operation Snowbird are adding two more weapons to their arsenal in the war against snow and ice in Cleveland. The first is a liquid deicer called magnesium chloride. The other is a blend of salt treated with molasses. The city expects to save money in the long run with these environmentally friendly products. They don't hurt the roads, so less money will be needed for repairs.
