Gravity Games 2003 Schedule

Gravity Games Announces 2003 Schedule, Tickets Go On Sale August 9th

Travis Pastrana, Bob Burnquist, Dave Mirra Among Top Athletes To Compete in Premiere Action Sports Competitions

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- July 22, 2003: Gravity Games officials announced today a specially designed event schedule for 2003. All prelims, semi-finals and finals will begin after 3 p.m. on weekdays so not to conflict with school hours allowing kids to catch all the action. The Gravity Games will take place September 10-14 in Cleveland's North Coast Harbor behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. (Full schedule of events below.) The complete music line-up will be announced at a later date. "We're excited to be back in Cleveland for another year of action sports competition with the world's best athletes and performances by today's top bands," said Wade Martin, general manager of Gravity Games LLC. "Our 2003 schedule has been designed to pack in more action giving fans even more choices throughout the day."

Tickets will be available August 9th through Ticketmaster at 216-241-5555 or by calling any Ticketmaster charge by phone number and online at www.ticketmaster.com

All tickets are general admission and seating is on a first come first serve basis. Individual day tickets are $12. Fans can also take advantage of the discounted five-day general admission ticket package for $40, a 30 percent savings. Holders of a daily ticket also receive 50 percent off the regular adult admission price to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum for the same day.

Entering its fifth year, Gravity Games features more than 200 of the world's best professional action sports athletes competing in Freestyle Motocross, Skateboarding, Wakeboarding, Bike and Aggressive In-Line Skating. The 2003 event, which is expected to draw more than 200,000 spectators to Cleveland's North Coast Harbor (behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum), also includes performances from some of today's top recording artists.

This year, NBC Sports will broadcast the event live from Cleveland on the final day of competition, September 14, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. EST, and then for six consecutive Sundays following the event, from September 21 - October 26. Check local listings for dates and times.

Gravity Games, a jointly owned strategic partnership among PRIMEDIA (NYSE:PRM), the leading targeted media company, Octagon, the global sports and entertainment event marketing arm of The Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) and NBC Sports, reaches more than 12 million households per year and has garnered a total of seven Emmy Nominations for NBC Sports. In 2004, Gravity Games will expand to a four-event property featuring summer, snow, surf and mountain events.

Gravity Games is sponsored by SoBe, Pacific Cycle (Mongoose, GT and Schwin), John Paul Mitchell, Global Gaming League, Slim Jim and Skiers Choice.
