Gravity Games 2003

Fabiola Da Silva
Qualifies in Male Dominated Field

2003 Gravity Games Athletes Continue To Qualify Through July and August

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Fabiola Da Silva breaks the barrier again this year and gains a spot as one of the only women to compete in the 2003 Gravity Games Inline Skate Vert competition. Da Silva qualified for the 2002 event and finished 13th in a field of 20 men. This year's event will take place September 10-14 in Cleveland behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

To qualify for the 2003 Gravity Games, Da Silva took first place at the 2003 ASA Pro Tour event, June 27-29 in Milwaukee, Wisc. She continues to break the barrier with her 540's and 720's, going bigger and bigger each year.

"We're excited to have Fabiola back at Gravity Games again this year," said Wade Martin, general manager of Gravity Games LLC. "The Gravity Games is about the athletes and attracting the best talent in the world to compete at the highest level. Year after year, Fabiola proves that she's got what it takes to be here."

Entering its fifth year, Gravity Games features more than 200 of the world's best professional action sports athletes competing in Freestyle Motocross, Skateboarding, Wakeboarding, BMX and Aggressive In-Line Skating as well as performances from some of today's top recording artists.

There are still opportunities for athletes to qualify for the 2003 event. Athletes qualify for the Gravity Games through the best action sports events and tours from around the world such as Vans Triple Crown, King of Dirt Series and ASA Pro Championships.
