Library Offering Electronic Books
Patrons of the Cleveland Public Library can browse an expanded e-book collection of about 1,000 titles. The collection will be available for temporary use on computers. Library officials say the collection can be downloaded via the Internet by card-carrying patrons, and after the loan period is up the copy will become illegible, eliminating the late fines associated with hard-copy books.

Hospitals See Early Onslaught of Flu Virus
Health officials say flu season is striking early this winter. A spike in the illness isn't usually seen until mid-January, but doctors say the early outbreak is probably because of holiday gatherings and a lack of hand-washing, which is key to preventing the spread of any virus. Health workers say the only cure for this virus is plenty of fluids and plenty of rest.

North Royalton Band in Rose Bowl Parade

The North Royalton High School Marching Band represented the school, city and, state of Ohio at this years Tournament of Roses Parade capping off a years worth of practice and fund razing activity.
