Suspect Arrested in Robberies
Police believe 33-year-old Timothy Scott Leach to be the alleged "ax robber" in at least 15 holdups in Brooklyn, Old Brooklyn and Parma. The robbery suspect was ultimately caught with a high tech camera surveillance system. Leach allegedly robbed a Dairy Queen in Parma on Tuesday night. The 16 digital cameras in the store caught the robber's every move, including jumping over the counter. A Brooklyn police officer recognized Leach from the picture, and an arrest was made.
