Cleveland Requests "Steeler" Name 

Pittsburgh no longer leading steel producer 

In an effort to clear up various facts about the leading steel producing company in the United States, Cleveland will formally ask Pittsburgh to relinquish the Steeler name from its NFL football team.  International Steel Group, Inc.  headquartered in Cleveland Ohio is now the leading domestic producer of Steel, over passing Pittsburgh based US Steel.  It is only appropriate that the name be relinquished.  Perhaps the NFL team in Pittsburgh could be called the Pittsburgh Aluminums (Alcoa), Pittsburgh Iron City (Iron City Beer), or Pittsburgh Mellons (Mellon Bank).  The NFL would not comment on this story.
