The world is right again. Dirk Nowitzki holds the NBA championship title. The Dallas Mavericks won their first NBA title by beating the Heat in game six in Miami 105-95 on Sunday night. The Mavericks were able to celebrate on the Heat’s home turf just to rub a little extra salt in Miami’s wounds.

Jason Terry scored 27 points and Nowitzki scored 21 allowing the Mavericks to win four of the series’ last five games.

LeBron James, however, ended his year with the Heat... with nothing.  He started out strong and faltered in the end of the game. He managed to score 21 points for Miami.

The Mavericks proved the Miami dream team was more of a failure instead of the dynasty they hoped to create.
